These terms apply when you visit our website, book a service with us, or otherwise engage with The Healing Centre. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
The Healing Centre, of 134–136 Union Street, Larkhall, ML9 1EF, Scotland.

Our services
We provide wellness, energy work, plant medicine ceremony, sound healing, hypnotherapy, bodywork, yoga, and related complementary practices, alongside training, retreats, and a café.
Our services are complementary, not a substitute for medical care. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychiatric condition. If you have a medical concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. By booking with us you confirm that you have read this and accept this distinction.
Bookings and payment
- Bookings are made via our Setmore page at thehealingcentre.setmore.com or in person at the centre.
- Payment is taken at the time of booking (deposit) or in person at the session, depending on the service.
- All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to amend prices for future bookings.
Cancellations and refunds
In summary:
- 24+ hours' notice: full refund or rebook
- Less than 24 hours: no refund; rebook at our discretion
- No-shows: no refund
Retreats and training programmes have their own cancellation terms, communicated at the time of booking.
Your responsibilities
When booking and attending a session, you agree to:
- Provide accurate health information on our intake form
- Disclose anything that could affect the suitability of a treatment (pregnancy, medication, recent surgery, mental health considerations, etc.)
- Arrive on time, sober, and in a fit state to receive the treatment
- Respect the space, our practitioners, and other clients
- Not record audio or video of sessions or other clients without explicit consent
We reserve the right to refuse or end a session if these are not met, with no refund.
Website use
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or redistribute our content without permission
- Use our website in a way that disrupts its function for other users
- Attempt to access areas of the site that aren't publicly available
All content on the website (text, photos, logos, designs) is © The Healing Centre unless credited otherwise.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law
This doesn't affect your statutory consumer rights, which are protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other UK law.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, we want to know. Get in touch via our contact page with the details and we'll respond within 5 working days. We aim to resolve complaints informally and quickly. If you remain unhappy, you may have rights to escalate through your practitioner's professional body (where applicable), the Citizens Advice Bureau, or the Small Claims Court.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The current version is always available on this page. Material changes will be notified to active clients.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be resolved in the Scottish courts.
